You don't have to know the product. Start with the problem.

The Arclight Network brings together products, equipment, people, information and fulfillment options around the problem in front of us — not around one fixed supplier, warehouse or route.

Search, compare, order and pre-order online. Or chat, call or text with someone who knows the products — or can find someone who does.
If we don't know, we don't guess. We listen, ask, research, source, refer, obtain and deliver.
We use technology, AI and digital commerce to make independent businesses more capable — while keeping the human relationships, local knowledge and community that make business work.
We build with purpose, function and at a pace that makes sense.
Our customers may wait a little longer when planning and consolidation create a better price. When speed matters, we look for the fastest practical option.
We are a family business built around practical relationships. We support contractors, restoration teams, facilities, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, independent entrepreneurs, homeowners, small businesses and community organizations.
We help you find the right product, equipment, information or person — even when the answer isn't inside our current network.
Your local relationships, awareness, demonstrations and market development matter. We protect activity, not geography.
Employee purchase programs, community fundraising and local supply opportunities help useful products reach the people who can benefit from them.
Our roots also include Arclight Construction, where hands-on restoration work shaped the practical focus we bring to products and equipment today. We started Gate Street International Ltd. in November 2018 to import Custers aluminium scaffolding. We committed to ensuring equipment we imported, sold or rented met rigorous quality standards and applicable federal, provincial and state requirements. Our eight-month evaluation tested the scaffolding more extensively than the process we had been given called for. Conversations with our network during testing led us to add Airsled and Benefect and launch our first white-label products: GSI Safety Gear knee pads and DRILITE restoration equipment. Then came COVID: we secured millions of dollars’ worth of supplies for hospitals, community support groups, physicians’ and dentists’ offices, retirement homes, long-term care homes and nursing homes.
We are not tied to one warehouse, one carrier or one fulfillment company. We work with a changing network of manufacturers, distributors, warehouses, fulfillment partners, carriers and local businesses to determine the most practical way to get a product where it needs to go.
Sometimes we choose the route. Sometimes the manufacturer or supplier determines how an order moves. Sometimes circumstances change after the order is placed.
We coordinate. We communicate. We follow up. We solve problems when they arise.
We do not always make every choice — but we do make sure it gets done.
You do not need to know which warehouse it came from or which truck carried it. You need to know someone is looking after it.
We import, test, sell and rent products from around the world, and connect them with customers in Canada, the United States and other markets, including Singapore and Panama.
We are working with new and improved product lines from the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Turkey and Asia. Our focus is practical: enhance productivity, improve safety and help control leakage, spills and losses in restoration, construction, demolition, institutional and manufacturing work.
Global sourcing works best with people who understand the local job. Our network connects manufacturers with the businesses and specialists who can support products on the ground.

The E-Z Scaffold team helps bring our Custers aluminum scaffold solutions to the job: delivery, setup and retrieval, with practical coordination around the project and the people using the equipment.
We invest our time, knowledge, energy and market presence directly with end users. We learn the product, understand the problem it solves, define the customer base and create awareness through multiple channels.
We help assess customer demand, positioning, routes to market and readiness for local use. This includes coordinating independent testing, applicable standards and NRTL testing or certification where required. Our hands-on work with Custers included nearly a year of component testing to destruction and evaluation of loading, transport, erection and stability — building confidence in the equipment before expanding its reach.
One sale at a time.
We don't want to be paid for a promise. We invest because we want access to great products that we can sell through our channels.
If we sell, we earn. If we don't sell, we don't. Simple.

Our first national program.
Built through local connections.
52 Degrees is our first national program, bringing product suppliers, selling members, rental members and field partners together to make useful equipment easier to access and support across Canada.
A 52° wedge is a gap wedge: it can cover full or partial shots from roughly 90 to 120 yards, play a low bump-and-run chip, or help with a longer bunker shot. In business, we bridge the capability gap between a product and its new market. We can coordinate some or all of the work in between—from customs, compliance and logistics to localized market development—helping products make a smooth transition and reach the right audience. When the route gets complicated, we adapt and help find a practical way through.
We are starting with a connected approach to access equipment: Custers Foldy, special-order Handy towers and configurations, alongside Falcon Ladders. The aim is to help customers choose equipment suited to the work, then connect sales, rental and practical local support.
Four additional product lines are in the process of joining. As the program develops, we are building relationships with like-minded entrepreneurs and professionals who value education, prevention and reliable follow-through.
A folding aluminum scaffold option for suitable maintenance and installation work, supported by a conversation about the task and setup.
Special-order mobile towers and configurations, planned around access needs, site conditions and manufacturer instructions.
Ladder solutions that complement the scaffold range, helping match the access method to the job and the people doing it.
Alongside the manufacturers we represent, we develop our own brands around the needs we see in workplaces, homes and everyday life.
Still thriving under Samantha Bachan and Steve Buganto. We meet regularly to support one another’s businesses and to get their feedback, on-the-job research and product testing.
Our environmental product brand, developed with practical use and customer needs in mind.
Knee pads and practical gear for people whose work puts them on their knees and on the move.
Ski goggles, mitts, claw mitts and a hockey stick line — products for getting outside and getting into the game.
Dehumidifiers, air movers and air scrubbers for drying, restoration and managing work environments.
The Report is where we go deeper — products, regulations, market conditions, supply-chain realities, manufacturer stories, field experience and how we are responding to the challenges of doing business.
Practical product stories, beginning with Custers and Falcon, alongside road repair, material handling, professional tools, dropped-object prevention and restoration equipment.

A large Ontario manufacturer gave us a sourcing challenge. By quietly working through the Network and alternative supply channels, we helped reduce the cost by roughly 50%.
The customer and source remain confidential. The point is not who — it is what a connected sourcing network can accomplish.
Insurance and organized claims services help people and businesses take the risks that make progress possible — to invent, build, manufacture, play and create.
Our founder, Richard Clarke, brings a background in claims from coast to coast to coast: personal and bodily injury, product liability, commercial claims such as slip-and-fall and food-poisoning losses, and the restoration of damaged homes and commercial buildings.
That experience connects our construction roots with today’s products, equipment and education. It has shaped a conviction that we should prevent the losses we can reasonably foresee and prepare for events we cannot fully anticipate.
Lightning, flood, hurricanes, fire, storm damage and break-ins remind us that preparation, timely response and a coordinated recovery all matter.
Without underwriting, acceptance of risk and high-quality, organized claims management, fewer people could afford to take the risks involved in building a business or trying something new.
Insurance works by pooling premiums from many policyholders. Money from the shared pool pays covered claims when people suffer a loss — so the costs of claims made by a relatively small number are shared across the many who contribute. The law of large numbers explains why this pool can be more predictable: when it contains many similar, sufficiently independent risks, average actual losses tend to move closer to expected losses. That helps insurers estimate claims and set premiums and reserves. It does not eliminate uncertainty or prevent losses, and a widespread event can affect many policyholders at once.

Prevention, insurance and claims response belong in the same conversation.
Our view is a continuous cycle. Behaviour, weather, invention and experience change the risks we face. Losses, claims costs and the lessons we learn can influence coverage, pricing and how we prepare for the next event.
After more than 30 years in claims, I wanted to put our supply knowledge to work on the cost of property claims. Insurers already provide valuable prevention education, storm warnings and apps for their insureds. Our contribution is complementary: help restoration teams source and manage tools and consumables efficiently through shared purchasing, storage, servicing and delivery—reducing avoidable time and operating expense. Statistics Canada reports $8.6 billion in catastrophic weather claims in 2024 and a 45% rise in homeowners’ home and mortgage insurance prices from December 2019 to December 2025. We hope better cost control can help moderate rate pressure, though rates have many drivers. We also recognize the property restoration industry, the IICRC, Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC), Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC) and their chapters for their day-to-day collaboration to improve and evolve best practices.
Development into scenic, remote areas can expand the wildland–urban interface, while building in floodplains can expose more homes to risk—including places people once believed were safe. Wildfire exposure cannot always be acceptably mitigated, and flood maps may be incomplete or out of date as conditions change. We believe these risks should be assessed before building; in some places, the responsible choice is not to build. See the National Guide for Wildland–Urban Interface Fires and the Auditor General report on flood hazard mapping.
Members combine orders for common loss-response supplies and equipment — from PPE, respirator filters and cleanup tools to cleaners, disposables and access equipment. One coordinated location can serve multiple branches, with inventory tracked and reported centrally. Coordinated storage, fulfillment and rentals can help lower purchase, handling, delivery, inventory and downtime costs, saving purchasing teams time and internal expense.
These efficiencies can improve partner margins and help control claim costs, including allocated loss adjustment expenses (ALAE) where applicable. Quality and restoring the insured, within coverage terms, as nearly as possible to their pre-loss position remain priorities. Savings alone do not guarantee lower premiums or referrals.

Principles: Pool common supplies, tools and rentals across branches. In the planned tool-share model, we own and service shared tools, store and track them centrally, and supply job sites with the tools and consumables they need through knowledgeable tool-room personnel. Fewer supply runs can protect productive time and operating dollars for staffing, training and average-cost control. Protect quality and timely restoration, and track inventory and savings transparently.
